Jemez Day School recently completed an exciting design-build project to enhance its outdoor play areas for students. The improvements include a new shade structure over the existing playground and a brand-new playground for kindergarten and 1st grade students. The new space features swings, a disc swing, buddy benches, hand sanitizer stations, and inclusive play components with ramps so every child can join the fun.

This project was made possible through collaboration between the Branch of Facility Management, Central Office, the Division of Acquisition Management for Bureau-Operated Schools, and Jemez Day School staff. These improvements have created a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable space for Jemez students to learn and play!
